Musings from the Factory Floor on Black Friday
As I walked around the shop
locking up, I took a good look at our finished line up of safes while no one
else was around. I made a few
observations and decided that I should be shooting pictures so I could share a
little bit of what I saw.
Big Blue Monster Gun Safe
The first thing I see is one
of our “Monster Safes” in a glowing Metallic Blue Finish, silver double
pinstripe & chrome 5-prong handle.
L.E.D.’s automatically light when the door is opened to reveal an oak
shelved 10 Long Gun Pro door backing with Pistol Pro Pegs above & a matching
metallic blue safe inside a safe. The
door on this monster is a massive 52” across and sports a 4-way active 20 bolt
locking system. I won’t give away all
the build secrets but the inside liner alone weighs more than most of my
competitors entire largest safes.
Next to the Monster are four
Custom Titan Gun Safes.
One Burgundy with Gold pinstripes, L A Gard Digital
Lock and 5-Prong Handle. The second, a brilliant Wimbledon white gloss finish with
gold pinstripes & hardware…Very Classy! The
third is a Tennessee Volunteers Orange Titan Gun Safe. “One Way George” put so many coats of custom Tennessee
Volunteers Orange paint on this safe I was afraid that the door would rub
against the frame…it didn’t however, the gap between the door and frame on this
safe is insanely snug and tight. Thanks
to one loyal Volunteer, I got to build another “Bad Ass Safe”. Go Vols!!!
The fourth custom Titan is one
of my personal favorites; a Gray Matte with Silver pinstripes, Sargent &
Greenleaf Spy-Lock & Chrome 5-Prong Handle.
The double door safe (shown
here primed and guide coated) awaits a gold pearl over tangerine orange high
gloss finish with candy purple flames, custom airbrushing and hand pinstripes. No decision has been made yet on the interior
but it will be something completely original and tricked out. You’re gonna want to see it so check back
soon.
These are just a few of the
safes we will be shipping by next weeks end.
I didn’t even get started on the Vault Doors or the custom
shelters. Maybe next time I will start at
that end of the shop.
Final observation…I am a very
lucky man, thankful to have clients that appreciate high quality American
craftsmanship. They allow me to put my
own personal touch on security products they will trust in their homes and
businesses for generations to come. Thanks to you all and God Bless America.
